Progressive lens

These types of lenses are typically prescribed to people over the age of 40. Progressives correct Myopia, Hyperopia, and provide readers + enhanced vision for computer use without the visible line that bifocals have. Due to the seamless invisible line, progressives are considered more multifocal.

Single Vision

These are the most common type of prescription lens. Single vision lenses correct a single vision field – farsighted or nearsighted. Myopia or Hyperopia. Myopia: nearsightedness and Hyperopia: farsightedness

Bifocal lens

These are the most common prescription lenses that come with age. These types of lenses correct two viewing areas and are divided by a visible line. The two sides are – 1. A larger viewing area for distance with a smaller segment for reading, 2. Your vision. Basically, they are your normal prescription lenses + readers.

Treatments / Options

Anti-reflective, scratch resistant, and photochromatic (Transitions®) lens coatings. These are just a few of the options we have to reduce disturbing reflections, enhance your appearance, protect your eyes from ultraviolet exposure, and expand the lifetime of your lenses.

Polarizing

Why are polarized sun lenses superior to ordinary tinted lenses?

Polarized sun lenses feature specific polarizing filters that stop blinding glare while offering superior comfort and quality of vision.

Few key benefits of polarizing lenses include:

  • Glare elimination
  • Greater eye comfort
  • Unmatched clarity of vision
  • True color perception
  • 100% UV protection

Polarized lenses provides you with the best visual experience for all your outdoors activities. Experience them for yourself chances are that you will not want to go back to ordinary tinted lenses! Get polarized sun lenses, available with or without prescription.

Transitions

These lenses are designed to quickly adapt from clear indoors to fully dark in brightest sun, offering a distinct advantage over regular clear lenses. These lenses continually adapt to changing light so they're always exactly the shade you need them to be.

Why to consider transitions:

  • Completely clear indoors and at night
  • Fast fade back speed
  • Block 100% of UVA & UVB rays
  • Fit any prescription and frame
  • Suitable for all ages
No-Glare & Hydro-phobic coatings

Anti-reflective coating (also called AR coating or anti-glare coating) improves both your vision through your lenses and the appearance of your eyeglasses. Both benefits are due to the ability of AR coating to eliminate reflections of light from the front and back surface of eyeglass lenses. With fewer reflections, more light passes through the lens to the eye for good vision and the lenses look more transparent and attractive.
